Hi! We’re Michael and Brooke and we are two Makers from Boston, Massachusetts. We run a makerspace and digital fabrication shop and also mill and dry locally salvaged lumber… none of which would be possible without the help of our Shop Dog, Red. She’s a 6 mo. old Duck Tolling Retriever and already a pro at wearing her safety glasses and ear protection in the shop while staying on her mat. It only seems fair we finally make something just for her. We try to showcase locally salvaged hardwoods as we can in our work and this Dog Mansion is no exception. It’s built like real house (because all dogs deserves the best) and we topped it off with live edge red oak siding milled piece by piece from a tree that came down on our property. Red’s named after Red Oak so it only made sense.
